Scott first started working with non-profits in 2008; Military Hero’s Campaign. There he developed, implemented and sold the multi-level sponsorship packages to several companies which provided both in-kind participation as well as capital investment. He also was on the team that planned and ran the GAEC sanctioned event called “Kappa Sigma Fight Night for the Military Hero’s Campaign” which raised over $7,000.
He would again reach into the Non-Profit field by fulfilling a primarily PR role for the 110th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship held in Charlotte in 2010.
Before moving to Light the World he started at CBS Radio in Charlotte as an intern for the Integrated Marketing Group and National Sales Associate. Scott got promoted to the Integrated Marketing Group, a small arm of CBS which designed and sold products for the companies not investing in radio advertising.
Scott has a unique acquired skillset derived from positions with Elevate Lifestyle Magazine, the Charlotte Checkers, CBS, the USGA and CMO-MD.com
